I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I've been kind of intoneonlately. It's weird having trends from the 90s start to come back, because as a teenager they were so cool, but then they were so NOT cool. So it takes me a minute to readjust, but I'm totally onboard with the resurgence ofneon!
While shopping for beads awhile back I put together this color palette, but I had to pause and think if I was really going to buy it. Shopping for beads is exciting (at least for me) but it's also overwhelming, tedious, and gets expensive. Color combinations really start to add up, so I always end up having to make decisions and put things back. Ultimately, I decided to get this color combo because everything I make, I make as if I were going to wear it. Since I have been wearingneonlately, I thought this color combo would be a good one.
I went with a geometric design, and opted for rectangles and triangles rather than all rectangles. They include a beaded chrome outline and handmade oxidized sterling silver ear wires.
Materials: Japanese seed beads, sterling silver
