Alisa McKamey Martin
Alisa McKamey Martin, Ground and Lift Jewelry-Alisa and Molly first met via the beginning stages of the restaurant world of East Nashville. They always stayed in touch, but reconnected on the jewelry level when both of them were involved with the Middle Tennessee Gem and Mineral Society. Alisa is a lapidary artist and metalsmith. She is lucky to have inherited her grandfather's vast collection of lapidary equipment, which she is constantly restoring in her gigantic 3-car garage. She also has a vast knowledge of stone properties. Molly often turns to Alisa for custom cut stones for herself and customers, whether a particular size, color, or shape of stone is needed, or if particular healing properties are required. Both Alisa and Molly enjoy traveling to Arkansas to dig for crystals and connect with the rockhounds there. Molly and Alisa often get together and talk about rocks, jewelry, and other funny things.
Nicole Boggs
Nicole Boggs, Nicole Boggs and the Reel-Nicole and Molly first met through an amazing collaborative space in East Nashville called The Building. The friendships, music, and art that were created and informed by one another in this space are priceless. Nicole is a writer and singer from Denver who created a few solo albums before settling into her current project, Nicole Boggs and the Reel. Although Nicole has worn Molly's jewelry to complement her own outfits around town, on stage, in photos, and even on national TV for years (they both share an affinity for huge earrings), it was with Nicole's project 'None of Your Business' that they officially collaborated on a project that represented something intentional. Molly looks up to Nicole for her business-minded sense and structure in the world of art and music. They also enjoy talking about the social state of current and past events, as well as what it means to be a woman in the current state of the world.
Miranda Fuller
Miranda Fuller, Miranda Fuller Art and Design-Miranda and Molly met pretty shortly after they moved to Nashville way back in the day. Through their large group of mutual friends they have always pursued artistic and creative endeavors together from visiting art galleries to putting on Secret Identities' Art Shows. Miranda is a graphic designer, water colorist, calligrapher, and yoga teacher. The recent collaborations which they pursue involve Miranda's work as a calligrapher which led her to explore the medium of engraving. Miranda and Molly contract out to each other as necessary for different clients and often collaborate on custom work as well when clients would like hand-engraved jewelry. Miranda is also the creator of Molly's original logo work, as well as designer for the primary logo and lettering style for her latest logo. Molly and Miranda still hang out and do too many things together to list here!
