Peruvian baby alpaca yarn is the featured material of these earrings. While visiting Peru a few summers ago I intended to pay lots of attention to the history and current practice of the fiber arts, and it is nothing short of amazing. I brought home some of the most beautiful yarn I could find, including this hand spun baby alpaca. It hangs as fringe from Japanese seed beads and hand made sterling silver ear wires.
